The clauses of these Terms of Sale govern every purchase from this site. Each clause carries its own heading so you can quote it back to us. We may update the terms, and the version that applies to your order is the one published when you place it.
The seller
Shwet Heritage LLP owns and operates this site from its registered office at Prabhat Chauraha, E-1/282, Sector I, Janki Vihar Colony, Jankipuram, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh 226021, India. Our GSTIN is 09AEOFS7458E1ZE. We sell directly, with no marketplace or third-party merchant behind any listing. Placing an order means you accept these terms.
The contract
Your order is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we send the order confirmation, not when payment is taken. If a piece is found damaged or unavailable at quality check after payment, we cancel the order and refund in full rather than substitute another piece.
Prices and tax
All prices are shown in Indian rupees and include GST at the applicable rate. Delivery within India is free on every order. Dispatch timing and lead times are set out on our shipping and returns page.
The handwork
Every garment we sell is embroidered by hand, so stitch density, motif placement and finished measurement vary from piece to piece. A measurement published on a product page may vary by up to one inch, and colour reproduction varies between screens. Variation of that kind is inherent to the craft and is not a defect.
What is ours
The photographs, written copy and page designs on this site are our copyright or licensed to us. None of them may be reproduced commercially without our written permission. Our Chikankari is certified under Craftmark Licence 278P060, issued by the All India Artisans and Craftworkers Welfare Association. The mark appears on this site under that licence.
Our responsibility
We are responsible for delivering goods that match their description and for the price you paid. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for delay caused by events outside our control such as courier disruption, weather or a change in regulation. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019.
The law and disputes
Indian law governs these terms. Only the courts at Lucknow may hear a dispute. Before one goes that far, write first to our Grievance Officer, named on our contact page with the clocks we answer to.
