Dark patterns declaration

The Central Consumer Protection Authority names thirteen dark patterns in its Guidelines for Prevention and Regulation of Dark Patterns, 2023, and asks every online shop to say plainly whether it uses them. Shwet Heritage uses none of the thirteen. Below is each one, and the thing in this shop that keeps it out.

None of this is a promise about intentions. Every claim on this page is checked automatically before the site can be deployed, against the code and against the pages a shopper actually reads. A countdown, a struck-through price, an exit prompt or a pre-ticked box would stop the release rather than reach you.

False Urgency
No countdown, no viewer counter, no deadline. The only stock line on this site reads a live count of the units actually left, and it disappears the moment that count is above two.
Basket Sneaking
Nothing is ever added to a cart or an order that you did not choose. The artisan gift is the one thing that arrives unasked, and it is free, stated on the cart before you pay, never billed and never a line you have to remove. The WhatsApp updates box starts unticked.
Confirm Shaming
Declining anything is a plain word. No decline button on this site is written to make you feel small for pressing it.
Forced Action
You can buy as a guest. There is no account step, no forced sign-up, and no sharing or following is asked of you before you can check out.
Subscription Trap
The house sells garments once. There is no subscription, no auto-renewal and no stored recurring mandate anywhere in the checkout.
Interface Interference
Prices are stated plainly at one size. No spin-to-win, no scratch card, and no visual trick that makes the cheaper choice harder to see than the expensive one.
Bait & Switch
The piece on the page is the piece that ships. Every price shown is the price charged, and a piece that is sold out says so on the card rather than at the payment step.
Drip Pricing
GST is included in the number you first see, delivery across India is free, and the checkout adds nothing that the product page did not already name.
Disguised Advertisements
Every product surface on this site is our own catalogue. There is no sponsored placement, no paid ranking and no advertisement dressed as editorial.
Nagging
One offer appears as you leave a browsing page, once in a visit, and closing it is a plain button, the escape key or a tap outside it. Nothing repeats within a visit, and nothing interrupts you on the cart, the checkout, your account or the order tracking pages.
Trick Wording
Plain sentences, no double negatives in a choice, and no wording built so that agreeing and refusing look the same.
SaaS Billing
The house bills no software and holds no card on file. Payment happens once, for the order in front of you.
Rogue Malwares
No download is offered, and no script on this site does anything other than run the shop you are reading.

One stock line does appear on this site. When a piece has two units left or fewer, the card says so, and the number is a live count of the units actually left rather than a figure chosen to hurry you. When a piece is gone, the card says that too.
