Jalebi Peach Lehenga Choli
Jalebi takes its name from the spiral cut of its panels, which swing exactly like the sweet coils in a Lucknow halwai's pan. Ram Devi hand embroidered the peach georgette in Lucknow with bakhiya shadow work and phanda knots. Fully lined, the set includes the choli with three quarter sleeves, the panelled lehenga and a light dupatta.

The stitches
- Bakhiya (shadow work)Herringbone worked on the reverse of sheer cloth, so the motif glows through as a soft shadow, the signature of true Chikankari.
- Phanda (knot)Tight millet-seed knots placed one by one to build jasmine buds and flower centres.
