Zaitoon is the olive, and henna paste is olive green before it stains, the mehendi green of this mulmul kurta. The maker hand embroidered it in white thread in Lucknow, pechni twisting the vine into raised cord, ghas patti fanning its leaves, phanda knotting buds, mukaish badla metal alongside. The kurta is 70–75 GSM, the garara white on an elastic waist, the dupatta 250 x 100 cm tissue organza.

- Mukaish (metal sparkle)Flattened metal wire pierced through the cloth and twisted into points of sparkle, Lucknow’s badla work.
How to wear it
- The garara and the thread are both white, so the green stops at the kurta's hem, and a white sandal or bangle joins a colour already in the outfit.
- The vine is worked around the neckline and down the front, so a necklace lies on top of the embroidery where earrings leave it clear.
- No pocket is cut into the kurta, so a clutch or a small bag carries the phone through the function.

Each piece is embroidered and finished by hand, so a measurement may vary by up to 1 inch. That variation is the signature of handwork, not a defect. The first table measures the kurta and the second the garara, which sits on an elastic waist. The dupatta is 250 by 100 cm.
