Amrood is the guava, green outside, and this mulmul's salmon pink is the fruit's flesh, not its skin. Phanda is knotted on the face and bakhiya laid behind it, hand embroidered in white by the maker in Lucknow, with mukaish badla alongside, metal wire flattened and pierced through the cloth. Dense above the waist, the work thins below it to scattered flowers and metal points, 36 kali panels, 70–75 GSM.

The stitches
- Bakhiya (shadow work)Herringbone worked on the reverse of sheer cloth, so the motif glows through as a soft shadow, the signature of true Chikankari.

How to wear it
- Mukaish is metal wire, so perfume goes on the skin before the kurta and never over the bodice, where the points sit thickest.
- White pants or a churidar answer the thread, and the 36 kali flare opens to a full circle at a turn.
- Salmon pink sits between orange and pink, so it takes either as a second colour, orange bangles or a pink lip both belong.

Each piece is embroidered and finished by hand, so a measurement may vary by up to 1 inch. That variation is the signature of handwork, not a defect. The hip figure is taken across the 36 kali flare, laid flat and doubled, which is why it runs far wider than a straight kurta.
