Tota Parrot Green and Yellow Mulmul Saree
Against a parrot green ground, yellow is the embroidery colour and blue stays at the border and the tassels. Tota is the parrot, and Pushpa's four stitches are hand embroidered into the semi sheer mulmul in Lucknow: bakhiya worked from the back, chana patti leaves in threes, phanda in millet seed knots, pechni wound into a spiralled cord. 100% cotton at 70–75 GSM, 5.5 metres, no blouse piece.

The stitches
- Bakhiya (shadow work)Herringbone worked on the reverse of sheer cloth, so the motif glows through as a soft shadow, the signature of true Chikankari.
- Chana Patti (gram leaf)Gram-leaf trios scattered along creepers, small leaves in threes.
- Pechni (twisted wrap)Tepchi wrapped over with thread into a raised, spiralled cord.
- Phanda (knot)Tight millet-seed knots placed one by one to build jasmine buds and flower centres.
How to wear it
- Green repeats the ground and yellow repeats the thread, and the blouse is where you choose between them, since none ships with the saree.
- Blue arrives only at the border and in the tassels, so a blue bangle or clutch picks up an edge the saree already has rather than adding a colour.
- Semi sheer mulmul lets the petticoat through, so a green one keeps the ground as it is where a white one lifts it.
